The Full Story

My journey is one of pain, survival, and purpose.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in the church, the proud daughter of the Late Bishop Joe and Evangelist Jessie Goldsmith.  From a young age, I knew the presence of God, but I also experienced the trials of life. Like many women, I’ve walked through seasons of brokenness, betrayal, abuse, and deep inner wounds. I’ve been rejected, overlooked, and silenced. I’ve battled silently with the scars of life while still showing up to serve others.

For 30 years, I worked inside one of the toughest systems — the Federal Bureau of Prisons — counseling inmates, leading substance abuse programs, and walking people through recovery. But in those years, God was counseling me too — healing me, building me, preparing me.

Through it all, I learned:
✅ God will use every broken piece to build something beautiful.
✅ What hurt me didn’t have the power to stop me.
✅ My survival became my sermon.
✅ My pain birthed my purpose.

Dr. Anderson was recently affirmed as Bishop-Designate by Archbishop Q.S. Caldwell. This next chapter expands her mandate to equip churches, leaders, and families with strategies for inner healing, spiritual growth, and community impact.

Dr. Tabatha Anderson also serves faithfully as the Assistant Administrator Board of Bishops and Overseers in the Celebration of Praise Ministries, under the esteemed leadership of Archbishop Q. S. Caldwell.  In this role, she provides spiritual oversight, administrative guidance, and leadership development across various branches of the ministry, ensuring that God's vision is executed with excellence, order, and purpose.

Her position within Celebration of Praise Ministries reflects her deep commitment to servant leadership, kingdom advancement, and the empowerment of leaders at every level. Overseer Anderson is a trusted voice and a dedicated vessel, called to build, equip, and edify the body of Christ.

Through conferences, radio, writing, and counseling, Dr. Anderson champions the message that there is life after loss, trauma, and disappointment—that we can move from hurt to heal and walk in purpose.

I’ve traveled from hurt to healing — and now my mission is to pull as many out of that pit as I can. To let them know: You will survive. You will thrive. And your story is not over.

This is more than a ministry — it’s a movement of healing and revival.
